User Task Inputs and Output Handlers Do Not Appear
Use this article when the Inputs or Output handlers tab does not appear while you are configuring a User Task in the Process Editor.
Symptoms
Section titled “Symptoms”After assigning a task screen to a User Task, you may find that:
- the Inputs tab is not displayed;
- the Output handlers tab is not displayed; or
- both tabs remain unavailable when you reselect the User Task.
Confirm that a task screen is assigned
Section titled “Confirm that a task screen is assigned”The Inputs and Output handlers tabs become available after a task screen has been assigned to the User Task.
- Select the affected User Task in the Process diagram.
- In the Properties panel, confirm that the Screen property identifies the required task screen.
- Assign the task screen if the Screen property is empty.
Refresh the User Task configuration
Section titled “Refresh the User Task configuration”- Save the Process.
- Select another element in the Process diagram.
- Reselect the affected User Task.
- Confirm that the Inputs and Output handlers tabs are displayed.
If the tabs still do not appear
Section titled “If the tabs still do not appear”- Reload the Process Editor.
- Reselect the affected User Task.
- Confirm that the assigned task screen is still shown in the Screen property.
- Check for the Inputs and Output handlers tabs again.
If either tab is still missing, record the Process name, User Task name, assigned task screen, and which tab is unavailable, then provide those details to your Lowgile administrator or support team.
